CASA Summer Exhibition 2026

The CASA summer exhibition returned for another year, alongside the village fete on 11-12 July. It saw significantly increased visitor numbers, especially on the Saturday, and a rarely-seen clean sweep as Linda Calvert sold every one of her paintings!
Helped by the popularity of the fete, and by the Church Drive gate being open to allow easier access to the Cedar Centre, a total of 225 visitors came through the doors, boosting artists' sales. Those who came were often heard remarking about the quality and breadth of styles of the art works on display.
Linda Calvert managed to sell all four of her paintings over the course of the weekend, and also won the vote for visitors' favourite work, with "Sunset" a clear favourite with the public. Altogether there were 74 pictures on display, along with pottery, cards and needlework.
Many thanks as always to everyone who came, exhibited, helped to set up and clear away, and give their time to supervise over the course of the weekend.
