COMMITTEE MEETING MONDAY 9 MARCH 2026

The committee met to decide on the programme of events for the year. Roz Roden has prepared a draft schedule which was agreed upon. We talked about charges, and agreed on £20 for the workshop, which is members only and limited to 15 attendees, and the normal demos will not change their charges from last year (£3 members, £5 non-members).
​
We may well do another demo/workshop on a Monday from one of our members, as this worked well last year.
We also agreed an outdoor painting day at Ferry Meadows on Wednesday 17 June, meeting at 10.00am at the Visitors’ Centre, with optional lunch at Ferry Meadows NVR station at 1.00pm.
​
The Castor fete is likely to be on 4 July, and we will run our exhibition as usual.
​
Our AGM will be in November.
​
The Christmas lunch was agreed to be at Milton again. Feedback from members following RM’s email was that people are happy to go back again, and it works well. We agreed to get something booked for a Monday in December.
